Browse Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a report submitted by Dr. Hisham Abdel-Khaleq, President of Delta Technology University, about the participation of students of the prosthetics and orthotics technology program at the university in the annual international forum for graduate students, under the title “Technology of prosthetics, orthotics, and movement aids.”Which was held on February 26-27, 2022, under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and the Electronics Research Institute, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Salem, Dean of the College of Industry and Energy Technology, through interactive screens at the university.
During the forum, the students learned about the latest emerging technologies in the field of prosthetics and orthotics, how to manufacture and design them, as well as criteria for selecting and testing materials and devices, in addition to identifying the current and future status of teaching prosthetics and orthotics, through a number of distinguished lectures by researchers and experts Foreigners and Egyptians.
On his part, Dr. Hisham Abdel-Khaleq stressed the importance of the university’s prosthetics and orthotics program, especially since Egypt is in the process of establishing an integrated system for the production of prosthetic devices, pointing to the importance of students attending conferences and scientific forums, as it is an investment for young minds, and their positive, correct employment towards a better future and promoting aspects of innovation and creativity, in addition to providing them with More skills and experiences to keep pace with technical development and link them to the labor market, in light of the Egyptian state’s orientations towards achieving scientific leadership that raises the educational level, achieves sustainable development and the aspirations of the new republic.
