Discussing and enhancing ways of joint cooperation between Delta University of Technology and Huawei Academy in various digital and technical fields
Dr. Arabi El-Sayed Kishk, President of Delta University of Technology, received Eng. Amr Zayed, CEO of Huawei Academy, and Eng. Amani Sayed, Development Officer at the Academy, within the framework of activating the joint cooperation protocol between the two sides.
During the activities of the visit, an introductory lecture was held for the students by those responsible for Huawei, in the presence of Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Agouz, Dean of the Faculty of Industry and Energy Technology, a number of faculty members and the supporting staff.
It dealt with the introduction of the Academy and the training courses that it will provide to university students, which contribute to providing them with the skills, experience and capabilities that qualify them to keep pace with the labor market, as well as training them and the teaching staff members and the supporting staff on modern techniques and technologies by international experts and providing them with accredited international certificates.
Engineer Amr Zayed called on the students to participate in the Huawei Global Competition, which encourages young people to be a distinguishing mark between countries, and to be a center for digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
Dr. Kishk extended his sincere thanks to the Huawei Academy, stressing that the opening of a branch of the Academy at the university is an important step in the framework of transforming the university into an innovative smart university in various technological fields in accordance with international standards.
The university president added that students’ participation in various competitions encourages competition and self-learning, develops students’ capabilities and skills, prepares them for the labor market, and prepares youth capable of keeping pace with digital transformation to achieve sustainable development according to the state’s strategy.
