Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hisham Abdel-Khaleq, President of Delta University, the first electronic exams were applied for the end of the first semester at the university for the graphic art subject, in line with state policies and the aspirations of the new republic, and in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education to prepare a generation capable of keeping pace with digital transformation .
The university contains a hall for electronic exams, which is a multi-purpose hall used to evaluate students electronically, and to provide the necessary training in the fields of programming and computer drawing, in addition to learning foreign languages.
The students of the first year in the Autotronics Technology Program at the College of Industry and Energy Technology at the university used the design programs on computers in the electronic examination hall, which was equipped according to the latest technical and technological levels for digital transformation. Electronically in all applied colleges, due to the saving of time and effort, and helping them to draw professionally, which facilitates the process of integrating and harmonizing the design with reality instead of using panels, with the possibility of printing students’ answers in the appropriate size.
Dr. Hisham Abdel-Khaleq indicated that the university, being one of the edifices of technological education, has the latest capabilities, and enjoys the modernity of its curricula and student assessment and measurement systems, is keen to consolidate digital transformation.
The president of the university also stressed that Egypt is witnessing a great leap in the field of digital transformation and technology, and the university’s keenness to be an innovative smart university that works on applying digital technologies in technological education, and providing integrated educational and training services of a quality comparable to international quality systems. Technological universities are the locomotive of progress for a better future. .
