Dr. Arabi El-Sayed Kishk, President of Delta Technology University, signed a joint cooperation protocol with Mr. Haitham Hussein Gomaa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Workers’ Complex, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Salem, Dean of the College of Industry and Energy Technology, and a number of faculty and staff members.
This comes within the framework of the university’s interest in expanding the base of cooperation and exchanging experiences with various bodies and institutions and industry partners in order to qualify and train students on technological developments, and develop human resources in the field of industrial and energy technology and technologies.
The cooperation includes training and qualifying students in the industrial, service and educational fields, industrial technology, energy and its applications and other sciences, organizing and holding training activities in the scientific, training and technical aspects and developing human resources, as well as coordination, cooperation, participation and follow-up for all stages of research and joint cooperation projects, starting with the development of the idea and through the preparation of designs until Implementation and follow-up phase.
In addition to providing training courses and field visits to students, appointing outstanding students, financing some research projects and student graduation projects, as well as scientific exchange, transferring local and global experiences, and benefiting from the possibilities available to both parties.
Dr. Arabi Kishk stressed the importance of technological universities and their establishment in industrial zones, in a way that contributes to serving national and development projects in Egypt, pointing to the university’s keenness to provide excellent training opportunities in addition to job opportunities for students, to achieve the university’s strategy in qualifying its graduates for the labor market and acquiring skills and future jobs.
For his part, M. Haitham Hussein expressed his happiness with the cooperation with Delta Technology University, which is a scientific edifice and a new direction for the country, stressing the importance of linking the outputs of education and scientific research with industry and the labor market, and attention to technological education. He also pointed out the importance of training and integration into the labor market, and the transformation of innovative projects. to reality.
It is noteworthy that Delta Technology University includes five technological programs that keep pace with the needs of the labor market and the requirements of the current industrial revolution, which are the mechatronics technology program, autotronics technology, information technology, new and renewable energy technology, in addition to the technology of prosthetics and orthotics.
It is worth noting that the Egypt Workers Complex is a service, industrial and educational facility that works in the field of managing and operating industrial facilities, by providing training and qualifying human cadres to work in various productive activities, through a complex that includes ten sectors and 60 departments, to work on creating a supportive and stimulating environment for industry in Egypt .
