Dr. Hisham Abdel-Khalek El-Sayed, President of Delta Technology University, participated in the International Conference on Higher Technological Education, which was organized by Beni Suef University of Technology in cooperation with Korea University of Technology and Education, and with the participation of the Korean International Cooperation Agency, entitled “The Egyptian-Korean Experience”, under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Al Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
This came in the presence of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Deputy Minister for University Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Hani, Governor of Beni Suef, Ambassador Hong Jin-wook, Ambassador of South Korea in Cairo, Dr. Mohamed Mujahid, Deputy Minister of Education and Technical Education, heads of technological universities, Dr. Arabi Kishk, Vice President Delta Technology University, in addition to members of the Supreme Council for Technological Education, and a group of members of the House of Representatives and Senate, industrialists and civil society and those interested in technological education.
Dr. Hisham Abdel Khaleq gave an introductory presentation about Delta Technology University and the importance and future of technological education, in addition to the university’s interest in practical and field training for students, as well as interest in entrepreneurship, student projects and innovations, establishing a science and technology club, and qualifying graduates with a distinguished level of knowledge, technological creativity and innovation.
The university president emphasized the political leadership’s interest and support for technological education, noting that the university adopts the latest technologies to develop the educational process to reach globalization, competition and excellence.
He added that the university is keen to provide a scientific and research environment that keeps pace with the rapid technological development, and meets the needs and requirements of the actual labor market.
