The Delta University of Technology, headed by Dr. Arabi El-Sayed Kishk, is participating in the international exhibition and forum for technical and technological education and vocational training “EDU TECH EGYPT 2023” in its second edition, which will be held on February 21 and 22, under the slogan “Create your future with your own hands”, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
This comes in realization of the aspirations of the state, the political leadership, and society towards a technical and technological education system that keeps pace with the state’s plans for sustainable development, and the actual needs of the labor market.
The conference is held in cooperation with international and local bodies, with the participation of a group of technical and technological education experts, industry and businessmen, and international organizations from Egypt and the world. It discusses the future of technical and technological education and what economic trends need.
The conference included sessions, panel discussions, workshops and seminars aimed at developing the skills and capabilities of students and opening new horizons for them to opportunities in the labor market.
The conference aims to bring together technical and technological education experts, industry and businessmen, as well as international organizations from Egypt and the world to discuss visions, policies, regulations and applied solutions, as well as opening new jobs and opportunities for students.
The university also participated in the exhibition that was held in the conference and gave an introductory presentation about the university and its distinguished technological programs and its importance to keep pace with the labor market and the most important equipment in it at the highest technical and technological level keeping pace with international universities, and suitable for technological education in addition to presenting some innovative student projects. The exhibition includes many educational, technical and technological institutions.
For his part, Dr. Arabi Kishk emphasized the university’s keenness to reach the highest standards of quality, efficiency and excellence, and to open new horizons for self-development, in addition to providing a distinguished scientific and research climate that keeps pace with the rapid technological development. To qualify its students for the labor market and to possess future skills and jobs.
The university president added the importance of the university’s participation in many events that support mutual trust between industry and academic institutions. To enrich the educational process, support the national industry, and graduate technological cadres with a distinguished level of knowledge and technological creativity.
